Keep comfortable no matter the weather, with heated and ventilated front seats. The 3-stage heating elements ensure the front seating surfaces are warmed in cool weather. During warmer conditions, 3-stage ventilation fans blow cooling air through the perforations in the leather seats.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW).

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) – City/Urban/Interurban/Pedestrian.

When you may be getting a bit too close to a car, cyclist, or even pedestrian in front of you, the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) will kick in and gently apply the brakes until you become a safe stopping distance away.
Available on Elite, Premium, N Line (DCT only) and N Line Premium variants. Optional on Go and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.
Blindspot_Collision_Avoidance_Assist_Icon.svg

Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW).

At speeds of 30 km/h or above, BCW uses radar sensors on either side of the rear bumper to detect vehicles next to and diagonally behind the i30. If a vehicle is present in the i30’s blind spot, BCW displays a visual alert in the exterior mirrors. If the driver proceeds to activate the corresponding indicator lights, a flashing visual warning is provided and an audible alert is sounded.

Lane Keeping Assist – Line (LKA-L).

Standard LKAS mode provides steering intervention as the vehicle is about to leave the lane.
Available on Elite, Premium, N Line (DCT only) and N Line Premium variants. Optional on Go and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW).

Using the Blind Spot Detection system’s radar sensors, RCCW monitors for traffic approaching on either side of the i30 when reversing out of an angle parking space. Should RCCW detect a vehicle approaching, an audible warning will sound, with a visual warning displayed on the supervision cluster.
Available on Elite, Premium. Optional on Go and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC) with Stop & Go

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go utilises the front radar sensor to detect the speed and distance of vehicles ahead of the i30. It then automatically maintains a safe distance to the vehicle ahead, up to a pre-set speed by the driver (between 30km/h – 180km/h). The Stop & Go function works in stop/start traffic, bringing the vehicle to a stop when appropriate, and automatically accelerate back up the original set speed.
Available on Elite, Premium, N Line (DCT only) and N Line Premium variants. Optional on Go and Active variants (Auto and DCT transmission only) as part of Hyundai SmartSense pack which is an additional cost.

Driver Attention Warning (DAW).

At speeds of 64km/h or above, Driver Attention Warning (DAW) uses the windshield mounted camera to continually monitor the vehicle’s position within the lane, whilst also tracking steering inputs, brake pedal inputs, as well as time since last break. Should the system detect careless driving (such as sudden steering/braking inputs and/or inability to keep within lane), the ‘Attention Level’ display on the cluster will continually decrease. Should the level decrease to a certain threshold, the DAA system will recommend that the driver take a break.

The reverse camera not only provides the driver with a clear view of the area directly behind the vehicle but also offers dynamic parking guidelines which swivel as the driver turns the steering wheel position.

Sat Nav Update Plan
Only applies to new vehicles with factory-fitted satellite navigation. Updates are delivered annually and are included if the vehicle completes a scheduled service at a participating Hyundai dealer. For i30 (PD), i30N (PDeN), IONIQ (AE), Elantra (AD), Veloster (JS), Kona (OS MY19+), Tucson (TL FL), Santa Fe (TM), Venue (QX) and Sonata (DN8). Models with factory-fitted satellite navigation, updates must be undertaken within 10 years of the vehicle’s initial purchase, maximum number of 9 updates. For all other Hyundai’s (excluding i45) updates must be undertaken within 6 years of the vehicle’s initial purchase, maximum number of 5 updates.
